Plot: A soul-searching journey into the mountains of Kurdistan by five diverse personalities joined by a single quest. A road movie with deep symbolic and intellectual undertones, fusing various cultures and perspectives in a humanistic display.Story: Nazé, a daughter of an Anfal genocide victim searches for her roots in Kurdistan. Meanwhile, two NYU film graduates roam the Kurdish countryside to show Charlie Chaplin films in remote villages. When every screening is interrupted, the duet abandons their plan and instead embarks on a new mission to help Nazé find her mother's village, an undertaking that brings them to the troubled Mount Qandil (dubbed by locals as the Kurdish Bermuda Triangle) along the Iraqi-Turkish-Iranian borders.
